The works of Scott Joplin, probably the most successful ragtime composer, are undoubtedly among the timeless classics and standard works in piano lessons. This volume of the series "Schott Piano Classics" contains a carefully selected compilation of his 20 best-known ragtimes in the original version. In addition, the edition contains a "School of Ragtime" written by Joplin himself, in which the stylistics and special playing techniques of ragtime are explained and illustrated with practical playing exercises. ‘This really is a must-have reissue, a top-draw publication delivering impeccable scores of Joplin’s greatest solo Ragtime pieces, and one of the year’s unmissable sheet music publications.’Reviewed by Andrew Eales for Pianodao Reviews 'This is an engaging collection which is sure to be a very welcome addition to the shelves of pianists and teachers alike' (Christopher Baxter, Piano Professional Magazine) Original RagsMaple Leaf RagPeacherine RagThe Easy WinnersElite SyncopationsThe EntertainerWeeping WillowPalm Leaf RagThe FavoriteThe ChrysanthemumThe CascadesThe Ragtime DanceRose Leaf RagPine Apple RagParagon RagWall Street RagCountry ClubEuphonic SoundsScott Joplin's New RagReflection Rag
